Silje is the founder of bSafe – a multiple award winning personal safety application, a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum, Norwegian Female Entrepreneur of the Year, European Ambassador for Female Entrepreneurship, Top 20 Nordic Business Thinker and a sought after speaker on entrepreneurship, innovation and digital safety.

When Silje founded bSafe, she had no background from technology or mobile, but she saw how technology could help increase people’s safety and wanted to make it happen. Prior to bSafe, Silje had since the young age of 14 been working internationally starting up idealistic projects and organizations. She was a profiled youth representative at various international conferences, and had been debating and working with people like The Dalai Lama, Hillary Clinton, President Frederick Willem De Klerk and Dame Anita Roddick.

At the core of her involvements there is a genuine passion for do all she can to make this world a better place.
