Lorenzo manages Commercial Real Estate acquisitions and development for Kaufman Investments, a division of the Kaufman Organization that has overseen billions of dollars of investment in office properties in Manhattan. He is responsible for evaluating, capitalizing and managing commercial real estate transactions in New York, ranging across the spectrum of ground-up, value-add and core-plus opportunities. Prior to joining the Kaufman Organization, as Vice President of Bakewell Investment, Lorenzo oversaw the restructuring of his own family’s global real estate investments. Previously, he was Project Manager for a family-owned wine producer and real estate developer in Portugal, where he managed real estate development projects for the family, including a ground-up €34mm, 82-key, luxury hotel. In between his roles in Portugal and with his own family, he managed the marketing and sales for a portfolio of wine brands in the UK. Lorenzo is an alumnus of Columbia University, where he earned a B.A. with Honors in History and Philosophy, and a Fulbright Scholar. He earned his M.B.A from Columbia and London Business Schools.
