Elaine Smith

Global Engagement and Partnerships, World Bank

Elaine works at the World Bank where she is responsible for Global Engagement and Partnerships. Elaine previously worked at the World Economic Forum where she was responsible for engagements of Financial Services Partners of the Forum. She was also the Manager of the Global Future Council of Financial and Monetary Systems. She worked in the financial industry from 1992 to 2011 (Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan, Morgan Stanley). She holds a degree in Business Management (Universidade Mackenzie), an MBA in Finance (USP FIA), participated at the Leadership in the 21st Century Young Global Leader/World Economic Forum Program at Harvard Kennedy School, Oxford and Yale, and is a Harvard Business School alumna.
