Afonso Mendonça Reis is the Founder of Entrepreneurial Minds a Lisbon based social enterprise that fosters Portuguese youth’s autonomy and a generation of impact citizens and responsible for Global Teacher Prize Portugal.
Afonso served as an Assistant Professor at Nova SBE where he taught undergraduate and graduate students in the realm of social entreprise. Also, Afonso advised senior policy makers at the OECD in Paris and at the United Nations in Geneva in the fields of education, employability and training. He coordinated knowledge and innovation management in a Swiss foundation present in 29 countries with over 700 collaborators.
Fluent in 6 languages, Afonso has been to over 70 countries.
