Healthy Food Day: A Fruitful Experience in Radovish
At our school in Radovish, Macedonia, students celebrated a special English lesson dedicated to healthy food — with a spotlight on fruit! The classroom turned into a colorful fruit paradise where students not only learned new vocabulary but also experienced the flavors of nature.
We explored and tasted a wide variety of fruits, including apples, bananas, oranges, strawberries, grapes, kiwis, watermelons, melons, peaches, plums, cherries, blueberries, pineapples, and even some exotic ones like mangoes, pomegranates, and papayas. Each fruit brought its own unique taste, color, and health benefits.
This wasn't just a lesson in language — it was a lesson in life. Students discovered how fruits help us stay strong, boost our immune system, and keep our minds sharp. We discussed the importance of eating fresh fruits every day and how they can replace unhealthy snacks with something sweet, juicy, and nutritious.
The energy in the room was incredible. Laughter, learning, and delicious fruit combined to create a powerful experience that students will remember. Our English lesson became more than just words — it became a celebration of health, knowledge, and joy.
In Radovish, we don't just learn English — we live it, taste it, and share it.
