Project Based Learning (PBL) is a teaching method in which students learn by actively engaging in real-world and personally meaningful projects. It emphasizes learning activities that are long-term, interdisciplinary and student-centered. It involves students designing, developing, and constructing hands-on solutions to a problem. In this method, the teacher designs, guides, mentors, teaches and evaluates, but also incorporates creative insights, student wisdom, and opportunities to produce new knowledge.
