Teacher Tales |
Hi dear teachers, This is Lalitha Budarapu, SGT from Andhra Pradesh. I would like to share a small work of mine, which became a good teaching aid for so many teachers. That is my reading cards in bilingual ( English, Telugu). My students used to read the context and write the context which were shared everyday in our school group, but I want to make them to read and write on their own. So I thought of designing simple cards with simple sentences, which are in easy way repetition . ???????????? I started designing the cards and used to share in our school WhatsApp daily and used to conduct this activity for 10 minutes everyday in my class, I observed children became very familiar with these cards and started writing their own sentences for the familiar objects. It's an amazing response from every community of teachers and they started sharing their experiences, development in the students reading ability and also it's Worth for both primary and secondary grade kids,as it's useful for teaching basic reading skills. I'm so glad to share my best works here.
