Congratulations to the winners of the National Teacher Prize in Slovakia!
Michaela Babejová, won the Slovak Teacher Personality Award and Eva Radičová won the Representation of the European Commission in Slovakia Award, plus the audience vote for the Public Teacher Personality Award.
Michaela teaches primary age children at Milan Rastislav Štefánik in Budimír. She has daily morning community circles with her children, keeps an emotion diary with them and uses other innovative techniques.
Eva Radičová teaches at Mária Rázusová-Martáková Primary School in Liptovský Mikuláš and believes her most important goal is to create an environment in the school where children feel accepted.
The awards ceremony was attended by Tomas Drucker, the Minister of Education, Research, Development, and Youth of the Slovak Republic.
