22 of Australia's most exceptional teachers | Parliament House, Canberra Australia

Education Minister Hon Jason Clare MP co-hosted the 2023 Commonwealth Bank Teaching Awards presented by Schools Plus, to recognise 22 of Australia's most exceptional teachers and school leaders.  The Awards ceremony held at Parliament House in Canberra saw 12 outstanding teachers receive a 12-month Teaching Fellowship.  In addition, the Early Career Teaching Award celebrates 10 teachers who have demonstrated leadership and innovation in their first five years of the profession.

Schools Plus and the Commonwealth Bank Teaching Awards partner with the Varkey Foundation, which presents the Global Teacher Prize and the Global Student Prize.
