Australia’s most dedicated and innovative teachers have been recognised in the 2025 Schools Plus Teaching Awards. These awards honour educators who inspire curiosity, resilience, and hope in every classroom, shaping brighter futures for young Australians. From creative lesson plans to unwavering commitment, the winners demonstrate the profound impact a passionate teacher can have on a student’s life.

2025 Recipients

Colleen O'Rourke, Emma Davis, Holly Wedd, Jade Bassett, Kim Brady, Kristie De Brenni, Lisa Holt, Michael Ha, Rachel Byrne, Russ Taunton, Teresa Maiolo and Tina Coumbe.

The program offers recipients a 1.5-day collaboration workshop, masterclasses, and networking opportunities to grow their leadership skills. Winners attend the prestigious awards ceremony at Parliament House in Canberra and join a network of over 120 alumni educators driving positive change in schools across the country. These awards shine a spotlight on the transformative power of teaching and the tireless dedication of Australia’s educators.
