Applications and nominations for the 2025 edition of the Global Teacher Prize Chile are now open, marking ten years of spotlighting the country’s most inspiring educators. Known as one of the most prestigious recognitions in Chilean education, the Prize celebrates teachers and early childhood educators who are transforming lives through innovative and dedicated classroom practices.
Now in its tenth year, the Prize continues to honour excellence in three distinct categories: Holistic Education, Early Childhood Education, and Music Education. Educators from across Chile are invited to apply or nominate a peer whose work is making a profound impact. Since its inception, over 85,000 educators have been recognised through the award, with 14 national winners celebrated for their outstanding contributions to education.
The 2025 call for applications was launched by Elige Educar at the MAVI UC Museum of Visual Arts with the theme “Everything we are began in a classroom”.
