The 2025 Global Teacher Prize Ukraine is now open for applications and nominations until 1 July 2025!
Applications are now open for the Global Teacher Prize Ukraine 2025, a 1 million hryvnia prize celebrating outstanding educators who shape the future of the nation. This year, the ACCORD GROUP, a member of the Oktava Group of Companies, joins as the official partner of the prestigious national award.
Teachers play an essential role in shaping individuals and society, and the Global Teacher Prize Ukraine honors those who drive change, inspire innovation, and nurture the next generation of leaders. The award, organised annually by Osvitoria, highlights educators who are transforming the education system and helping communities thrive.
Continuing its tradition, Accord Group will once again support STEM teachers—those who ignite curiosity and empower students to explore, create, and solve real-world challenges.
Applications are open until July 1, 2025. Teachers can apply directly, or be nominated by students, parents, or colleagues.
The selection process will unfold in several stages, culminating in the announcement of the winner on October 4, International Teachers' Day.
The initiative is led by Osvitoria with the backing of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Diya.Osvita, and the Mriya educational ecosystem.
The Varkey Foundation partners with the organisers of National Teacher Prizes worldwide and offers expert advice on the application and nomination processes, as well as judging criteria.
