We are proud to celebrate the achievement of Selçuk Yusuf Arslan a 2021 Global Teacher Prize finalist, whose project Code for Climate Action (C4CA) has been awarded 1st place in the Green Curriculum category at TeachersCOP 2025. Hosted by the Office for Climate Education within the COP framework, TeachersCOP is a global platform that elevates teachers’ voices in climate education, showcasing innovative classroom projects that empower young people to understand and act on climate change. The initiative attracted 327 project submissions from 83 countries, with only the top 10 selected to present at a global online session on 15 November 2025.
Following presentations and voting, Selçuk's C4CA project was selected as the category winner, recognising its powerful use of innovation and technology to drive climate action through education. This achievement reflects the spirit of the Global Teacher Prize community, educators leading with creativity, compassion and purpose to make a meaningful impact in their classrooms and beyond.
