Global Teacher Prize |
At the 2025 International Book Fair of Buenos Aires, the spotlight turned to the future of education. In a panel titled “Is Educational Transformation Possible?”, 2025 Global Teacher Prize finalists Karina Sarro and Lucas Vogel, alongside 2024 Global Student Prize finalist Martina Basgall Sequeira, explored the pressing challenges and real-world opportunities for transforming education. The panel, moderated by Agustín Porres, regional director for Latin America at the Varkey Foundation, brought together voices from both the classroom and the student body. Drawing from personal experiences and global perspectives, the speakers emphasised that meaningful change in education is not only necessary but also within reach. Their insights underscored the role of teachers and students as key agents of transformation in reimagining how we learn and teach, reports Infobae.
