In a major step toward transforming its education system, Saudi Arabia has announced the launch of its first-ever mandatory pre-service teacher preparation program. The initiative, unveiled in Dubai, is aimed at ensuring that all new teachers entering both public and private schools are thoroughly equipped with the skills and knowledge needed for modern classrooms.
This landmark policy marks a significant shift in the Kingdom’s approach to educator development, aligning with global best practices and supporting the country’s Vision 2030 goal of enhancing educational quality and competitiveness.
