The Varkey Foundation in Argentina has announced the launch of the sixth edition of its pioneering "Learning with Sustainable Energy" program. This initiative is set to roll out across public and private primary schools in the province, marking a collaborative effort supported by Emesa, Fundación Pampa Energía, EPRE, Distrocuyo, in partnership with the Ministry of Culture, Education, Childhood, and the General Directorate of Schools.
"Learning with Sustainable Energy" adopts the Project-Based Learning (PBL) methodology, targeting teachers and principals from 103 primary schools. The primary focus of this year's program will center on exploring sustainable energy solutions, aiming to deepen participants' understanding and foster commitment to responsible consumption practices.
Since its inception in 2020, over 650 schools have participated in this initiative, with approximately 2,000 educators and school leaders receiving specialized training in the PBL methodology. This ongoing effort underscores Argentina's commitment to advancing educational practices that promote sustainability and innovation within its school systems.
