Global Teacher Prize 2023 Winner Sister Zeph was in Brussels last week, where she spoke at the Global Gateway High-Level Event on Education. The event is co-hosted by the European Commission and Belgian Presidency of the Council of the EU.
The key aim of the event is to promote education and enrol every child in school, raising the value of education and respect for teachers worldwide.
“We have to make people realise that education is one of the most important, most valuable and most sacred missions on the planet. So if you want to be a changemaker, be a teacher!” says Sister Zeph
Sister Zeph joined political and business leaders, decision-makers and youth representatives - plus Global Teacher Prize Ambassador Adeola Adefemi - to discuss the EU’s role in transforming global education and bridging skills gaps.
