Two teachers from India Deep Narayan Nayak and Hari Krishna Patacharu have made it through to the top 50 of “the prestigious Global Teacher Prize 2023, which recognises educators who have made an outstanding contribution to the profession”, and were selected from thousands of entries from across the globe, so are now in the running to win the award – presented by the Varkey Foundation in partnership with UNESCO – and US$1 million, says India’s Teacher Magazine -
