2024 Global Student Prize Winner, Ángela Elena Olazarán Laureano has doubled down on her mission to transform STEM education and public health in Mexico. She is currently working on launching a mobile STEM lab for rural students, delivering hands-on technology and robotics experiences in remote areas. Meanwhile, her AI project Ixtlilton, a virtual health assistant that diagnoses diseases in Indigenous languages, is undergoing expansion to reach more communities. Ángela’s recent work reflects her commitment to educational equity, innovation, and youth empowerment across Latin America, reports Mexico's Diario Xalapa.
