Global Student Prize 2021 Top 10 Finalist Kehkashan Basu.
Kehkashan has been awarded the Spirit of the United Nations Award for her decade-long work with Green Hope Foundation in furthering the United Nations mission of human rights, peace and sustainability.
The Green Hope Foundation is a youth-led, ECOSOC-accredited non-profit organisation based in Canada. With operations spanning 28 countries, the foundation reaches over half a million people globally. Established in 2012 by Kehkashan Basu, M.S.M., MBA, when she was just 12 years old, the organisation has since made a significant impact on environmental and social issues worldwide.
Kehkashan was presented the award by the NGO Committee on Spirituality, Values and Global Concerns - NY.
