The Varkey Foundation is delighted to announce that it has partnered with the King’s Trust Group.
The King's Trust Group, formerly The Prince’s Trust Group, was established in 1976 by His Majesty King Charles III. The trust's mission is to empower young people to build the confidence, skills and experience they need to succeed in the world of work. This is achieved through programmes focused on Education, Employment and Enterprise.
The Varkey Foundation joins as a Global Patron, joining His Highness Aga Khan V, and HSBC Holdings. Over the next three years, we will support education programmes in the UK and internationally— focusing on making a real impact and difference on the ground.
Across 25 countries, the King's Trust Group have supported over 1.2 million young people, and their education programmes alone account for two-thirds of their global reach, spanning countries including India, Pakistan, Ghana, the US, and the UK.
In 2024/25 the King's Trust Group supported 63,000 young people through education programmes. Over 2/3 of these young people reported positive improvements to their personal and social development.
