A rallying cry for action, the report calls on everyone—policymakers, educators, international and local communities, experts, students, parents, and even the elderly and youth—to unite and harness the climate-education nexus to its fullest potential. The message is clear: change starts with us, wherever we are.
At its core, the report outlines five actionable, win-win solutions demonstrating how education and climate action can work hand-in-hand, creating benefits for both people and the planet. Additionally, it offers specific recommendations in three key areas: policy development, financing strategies, and strengthening research evidence, providing a roadmap for meaningful progress toward a sustainable future.
