Minister María Fernanda Rivera Dávila presented an award to Professor César Fetzer Paz, from the EFA of Cobán, Alta Verapaz, after he entered the Top 50 of the Global Teacher Prize 2026.
This special event is part of one of our five institutional priorities, which is to value the technicians, professionals and staff who excel in their work and who constantly seek innovation.
"You are a living example that at MAGA we sow knowledge to reap development," the minister said during the award ceremony.
With projects like the Agrometaverse and the Reading Comprehension Pentagon, Professor Fetzer is transforming agricultural education and preparing our future agronomists.
