2023 Finalists Global Student Prize

Emmanuel is a student who sees education as a platform for personal growth, discovering passions, and making a positive impact on others. He actively engages with his peers, participating in class discussions, collaborating on projects, and fostering a sense of community within his school. Beyond the classroom, Emmanuel extends his efforts to the broader society through community service projects, volunteering, and advocacy work. His areas of focus include environmental activism, social justice, children's rights, access to quality education, and sustainability.

Emmanuel has received recognition for his commitment to these causes, serving as the UNICEF Youth Advocate in Water Sanitation Hygiene and Innovation, as well as the Ambassador of the World Literacy Foundation. He has also been nominated for the International Children Peace Prize for his work in helping marginalized children access education. In leadership roles such as Head of Social Welfare Prefect and General Secretary of the Prevention and Combating of Corruption Bureau, Emmanuel advocates for children's rights and addresses relevant issues in national and regional councils.

Academically, Emmanuel has excelled, earning top grades and winning awards for his science and innovation projects. He has received scholarships and recognition for his academic achievements, including the Dare to Dream Scholarship and the Davis United World College Program Scholarship. Emmanuel's impact on his peers is evident through his establishment of the Changemakers Foundation Club, which provides support and assistance to children in orphanages and villages. His dedication to community service has earned him the title of the best club leader of the year.

Emmanuel's commitment to social change extends beyond his school community. He has actively volunteered with local, national, and international organizations, engaging in activities that promote wider social change. He has contributed to food system dialogues, supported orphanage centers, and participated in national and global advocacy and activism on various issues.

Emmanuel's creativity and innovation shine through his projects. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he designed a revolutionary hand washing machine to improve hygiene practices in his community. He has also developed a sensory mat security system and a sustainable business card called DigiCard, aimed at reducing environmental impact.

Emmanuel actively fosters global cooperation by organizing workshops and programs that bring students together to learn about entrepreneurship, leadership, community service, and sustainability. Through student exchange programs and collaborations with international organizations, he promotes cultural exchange, collaboration, and empowerment.

If Emmanuel were to win the Prize, he would utilize the funds to support initiatives that promote innovation, education, and community empowerment. His plans include establishing outreach programs in rural areas, nurturing young innovators, promoting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through advocacy and activism, expanding his DigiCard project, and supporting his family by opening a small business.
