Isheba Cornwall is second year student studying Integrated Marketing Communication at the University of the West Indies. After an incident left her blind in her left eye at just nine years old, she nursed many insecurities as she progressed through high school. She decided she didn’t want anyone to feel this way, and her passion for wanting to empower and inspire people was born.

At age fifteen, Isheba started her leadership journey as a radio broadcaster which allowed her to help many young people find their voice and speak out on issues affecting them. She is an advocate for youth empowerment, entrepreneur, and expert in using social media for the power of good. Dubbed the 'Energy Queen' by her friends and colleagues, her authenticity helps facilitate impactful events and conversations on issues affecting youth. As a lover of Media and Communication, her mission in life is to use traditional and new media to educate, inspire and enact positive change among Jamaica's youth and help them unleash their full potential despite their circumstances and their experiences. She does this through the Talk Up Youth Radio show that is aired nationwide every Saturday, her personal digital platforms and also through the many impactful events that she hosts.

Isheba is the founder and host of the Woman Up Radio Show aired on NewsTalk93fm which uses the art of storytelling to educate Jamaican women on how they can navigate womanhood, with a focus on topics such as education, careers, finances, relationships and mental and physical health. As a core member of the Talk Up Yout community group, she hosts its radio show on Nationwide 90fm which focuses on a number of youth issues from crime and violence in Jamaica to Climate Change and even how young people can use their creative talents to advocate for something they are passionate about.

As a social entrepreneur Isheba is co-founder of the online community iAM (Intentionally Aiming for More) which focuses on providing opportunities for youth to excel in a number of areas in life including building their personal brand and becoming well-rounded students in high school and university. Her team has so far have impacted over 200 students from Jamaica and the Caribbean through events such as Couch Chat Sessions which involve candid conversations on how students could "Win at University", bringing in special guests from around the world. She is also co-founder of social enterprise Empower Youth Tees.

Isheba has held a number of leadership positions throughout her educational career from being the Head Girl and Students' Council President of Excelsior High School to the Region 1 Public Relations Officer for the National Secondary Students' Council in Jamaica. She is also a social media marketer who has worked with companies such as SportsMax Limited and Sagicor Group Jamaica to achieve their social media goals, and is also Social Media Ambassador for the United States Embassy in Jamaica.
