I enjoy teaching middle school students because, like movies, it has many genres. Every school day is a series of action, drama and comedy, with the occasional thriller when I use my "scary look" to silence the classroom noise. Each day is filled with "duh" and "eureka" moment. At the end of the day, there's a feel-good moment when everyone learns their lessons and laughs at their mistakes. Years later, they will remember these times as some of their best memories.

My high school students in my Business Class vividly recall their best times being in middle school, reminiscing about the many activities we did together. "I wish we could be middle schoolers again,"they say, watching my Grade 6 class engage in outdoor lessons.

Yes, teaching middle school can be challenging, but for my students, I am not just a teacher. I am their idol, a movie director, an actress, a judge, and most importantly, a guide to their success. To them, I am the GOAT (Greatest Of All Time).
